Finally...just incase your wondering about the lack of updates, we are currently working away in the studio, working hard on creating more new music.
March 2009
March has mainly been focused around promoting, organising tours and recording new tracks. Over the course of this month we have done
several radio interviews and profiles. First Chris took part in BBC Radio 1 NI's series "learn How To Rock with" series. This was basically
an interview where Chris explained the role the guitar plays in EXIT, what influenced him as a guitarist and finally Chris had to teach the shows presenter
a few things on the guitar live on air. Certainly a unique and novel way to do interviews. The next big feature was a profile of band for BBC Radio Ulster's legendary
Across The Line show. This was a slickly produced profile of the band featuring interviews from Andy and Chris. You can hear this profile in the audio section of this website
under the heading "ATL Profile".
EXIT have also hit the studio with a vengence this month. The band are currently busy recording two brand new tracks.
The bands music video still continues to be a hit on the band's YouTube channel reaching well over 30 thousand hits. Not band for one month.
EXIT have also announced several new gigs over april and a festival date in May. We are currently busy lining up tour dates, festval dates all across the UK, Scotland etc,
so stay tuned for updates. Finally, the band are one of the featured bands at the first "Lark In The Park" festival in Moira on the 2nd may. Basically this is a brand new music festival
and we encourage everyone to get tickets for the day. If you want more information about the festival, tickets etc visit the festival's
myspace page.
Feb/March 2009
Its update time...this time we would like to tell you about our exciting new music video for the track "Label Girl".
The video is already receiving great feedback. Most natably on the bands YouTube Channel where the video has managed to get
over "30 thousand" views since in 10 days. We are very excited about the viewing figures of the video as it shows our growing fanbase. You can view
the music video on this very website by going to the video section. Alternatively, if your a Youtube user you can subscribe to our channel, click here
www.youtube.com/user/ExitOnline.
The Video was Directed by the bands Photographer and collaborator Mark Hylands and Produced by HM Productions. We would like to thank Mark
and Christopher for working so hard on the video and their lightning fast delivery of the video. You guys are legends, great work. To
check out more of Mark's work goto
www.markhylands.com.
In other news this month we have more gigs in the pipieline (see gigs page). We are also working on loads of stuff at the minute including a tour of the UK/Scotland
so stay tuned for updates. We are also recording some new tracks at the minute, but we have run into problems due to computers going down, losing valuable data of the recordings
so it's going to take a bit longer to complete the recording as its back to the drawing board.
Jan/Feb 2009

March 2008
We're sorry about the lack of updates here. Things have been manic here. First off in a followup to the last news where we had won our place into the All-Ireland finals of the Bodog Battle Of The Bands. Well, since then we won the All-Ireland Finals, we then went on to represent Ireland in the European finals to win a place in the overall finals in the US. The Euro finals took place at The Manchester Academy, Manchester UK. So the band headed off to Manchester and had a monumental time, sadly we just lost lost out our place in the overal finals. But considering the record deal we were asked to sign with the company before we progressed the competition turned sour and we refused to sign, so I suppose this didn't help.
However, we got alot of press and publicity from the competition. So we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the radio presenters, reporters who helped us out - we owe you all. We would also like to thank Black Confetti in Lisburn for providing the band with a deal on band T-shirts, which are now available to buy in the online store of this site. On the subject on the NEW online store we are pleased to announce that you can buy a copy of our new EP direct from this site, priced Ã?Æ'ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£5 plus p+p. Goto the online store to check it out.
During this time we also headed back down to Dublin to play a great gig in the Village. But whats coming next...we'll we will have a few dates lined up aroubd Belfast soon, more Irish dates and some UK dates for the summer months. We will also be heading off to Italy to play at a major outdoor music festival. So all in all its moving fast for the band. Keep checking the gigs page for live dates and of course the news page for further updates.
Dec 2007
We are pleased to announce that we won through ther semi-finals round of the Bodog Music competition, we are now into the All-Ireland Finals. The big dinal will be in the huge Tripod venue in Dublin on Sunday 20th Jan @ 4pm. We would like to thank all that came down to support us in the semi-finals. However, we need to do it all over again for the final so we are running a bus
down to the gig in Dublin from Belfast and back again. The bus will leave from Belfast City Hall and leave people off at the Tripod in Dublin. Just to add a little incentive into the trip the bus will be leaving Belfast early, so you will get a full day trip in Dublin with a gig that night. Tickets for the gig/bus package are available from the band for the cheaper rate of Ã?Æ'ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£10 (tickets for the gig alone cost Ã?Æ'ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£10 on ticketmaster).
To get a ticket from the band people can get more information by sending an email to the following: CLICK HERE TO REQUEST A TICKET and we get a ticket sent out. You can also buy tickets from Matchetts Rock Shop and the Coffee Kiosk both in Belfast city Centre.
